Inside Sales Representative

Full Time – 40 hours per week

We are a fast growing IT Support company, specialising in Hospitality venues, that is now seeking an Inside Sales Representative.  Based at Shoreham Airport, we have clients all over the UK but are looking to grow in the South East and London areas. The successful applicant would need to travel to meet potential and existing clients but will be based at our head office in Shoreham.

The ultimate responsibility of the Inside Sales Representative is to drive revenue growth from both the existing client base and through new customer acquisition. This will involve i) renewing, up-selling and cross-selling existing Astaris services which include Hospitality IT Support packages, Business Internet, Business WiFi, Hosted VoIP Telephone systems, PCI Compliance, Spam & Ransomware protection and our equipment lease packages.

The successful applicant will work closely with the operations and admin team in following the Astaris sales process from prospecting to closing the deal. You will be able to demonstrate success in sales in a similar technology or Hospitality trade and have at least 1 years selling experience with proven track record.

Key Accountabilities

  • Building relationships with existing clients
  • Nurturing, maintaining good client relations with face to face meetings and regular contact
  • Working alongside admin team to produce quotes and client proposals, conducting thorough follow up
  • Achieve and exceed new business/renewal targets (monthly)
  • Actively call prospective clients and existing clients to upsell, cross sell or introduce new products
  • Qualify leads to ensure they meet Astaris’s target market
  • Actively track and manage enquiry follow-ups
  • Source quality leads by inquiring about a prospect’s/client’s needs and properly identifying appropriate Astaris services
  • Discuss the benefits of Astaris services to prospects and highlight areas where Astaris’s services can meet their requirements
  • Keep an accurate log of activities and businesses contacted using the company’s Zoho CRM application
  • Demonstrate a creative approach to reaching target market
  • Work as part of the overall team with support from Admin, Operations, Engineering and Management, but you will also have the ability to work autonomously when required
  • With training, develop a good understanding and knowledge of Astaris services, target industries and target audiences
  • Have the ability to take on technical information
  • Participate in team meetings and shares ideas to increase team performance
  • Look for ways to improve processes and procedures
